Active Eastbourne and Lewes, alongside the wider network of other Active Partnerships across East Sussex, is committed to working together to support the development of the sport and physical activity workforce. This involves everyone helping people to be active – from sports clubs, gyms, fitness professionals, coaches, instructors, community organisations and leisure providers, to volunteers who give their time to support local activity opportunities. Where you are a paid or volunteer-led, we recognise the important role you play in creating healthier, more active communities.
Active Eastbourne and Lewes aims to develop a skilled, confident and inclusive workforce that can meet the needs of local people and communities. Through training opportunities, networking, shared learning and partnerships, we want to help organisations and individuals build knowledge, improve confidence and create welcoming environments where everyone feels able to take part in physical activity and sport.
